SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
If you have any special requirements, please make these clear ahead of ordering e.g. any deadline for completion or removing existing engraving. An early enquiry and ordering is advisable and please make the numbers and any deadline known to us when you ask.
We can engrave your own items as well as items bought from us.
Do you require the existing engraving to be removed and a different message engraved instead? This can be achieved depending on the thickness of the metal.
SHIPPING & INSURANCE COSTS
These will be quoted on receipt of a detailed specification from you as to which items and the numbers required. These depend on the location and number of items being engraved.
LOGOS OR MARKS
If your items are required to be marked with a logo then please be prepared to supply adequate artwork for use if necessary. These can be submitted after the form has been sent.
Laser engraving is a complicated process and there are many factors involved in making sure it works. First of all is the image that you submit to be engraved - If this is poor then the engraving will be poor; Always provide us with the best image you can, the higher the DPI the better. Next is what the engraver does with the image once he gets it - He has various pieces of software to process the artwork and choosing the right one can make all the difference to the end result.
RISKS
In the unlikely event of loss or damage to the items that you send in for work, please check that you have insurance that would cover the goods. The factory will take all reasonable steps to safeguard your property but events can sometimes happen that may result in loss or damage that are beyond our or their control. Household contents policies often cover "goods temporarily removed" so this may be worth checking should an unforeseen event happen.
